Supporting the shapers of this world since 1864
The history of the ICE Benevolent Fund spans 150 years and, during that period, it has helped over 35,000 civil engineers and their families.
The Institution of Civil Engineers Benevolent Fund gives back to the people who quietly contribute so much to society by shaping the world around us.
We’re here to help all civil engineers who are, or have been, members of ICE. We’re also here for their families.
Our toolkit of support and development equips ICE members and their families to deal with the pressures of everyday life. It also helps members reach their potential in their personal and professional development.
Life’s challenges come in different guises from crises such as redundancy, illness and bereavement to the more predictable such as retirement preparation, financial planning and career progression. In all of these cases, we support ICE members and their families all over the world.
