Mental Health Awareness week and Dementia Action week are both happening this month.
1 in 4 of us experience a mental health issue in any given year.
1 in 2 of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetimes, either through a diagnosis or by caring for someone with a diagnosis.
The ICE Benevolent Fund want ICE members, and their families to know - you don't have to make your journey alone.
So, what's on offer?
We offer a range of support services to members and their families as part of their member benefits.
Here’s a peek at some of the services available through your Ben Fund:

Events
The Ben Fund has a number of webinars on offer to support wellbeing. Upcoming topics include:

Anxiety support: Fast-tracked service provided by Anxiety UK to help with anxiety, stress or anxiety-based depression.

Counselling: Tailored to specific life events, such as relationship breakdown or bereavement.

Helpline: Advisors are available 24/7, whether you need a quick chat or an in-depth conversation.

Online resources: Self-help sheets available on a range of subjects.

Youth counselling: Specialised counselling for the children of ICE members.

Neurodiversity support: Including autism support and the opportunity to pursue a dyslexia diagnosis.

Dementia support: Appointments with a nurse specialised in dementia care, available to those living with a diagnosis and those caring for someone with a diagnosis.
Who can access support?

Current ICE members (some services require a minimum of 1 year membership).

Immediate family of an ICE member (spouse/partner and dependent children under 18).

Previous ICE members with at least 5 years of membership, and their immediate family.

Widows and Widowers of previous ICE members.
