Why do Civil Engineers need a charity, anyway?

The answer might surprise you…
Question Mark 2

It’s no secret that Civil Engineering is a proud and respected profession. Civil Engineers are capable of quite literally creating the world around us. So… why would such a capable profession need a benevolent fund?

The answer is simple.

Because Civil Engineers are people too.

Much like anyone else, Civil Engineers are not immune from becoming ill, being made redundant, facing debt, going through a bereavement, or experiencing a mental health issue… and neither are their families.

And that’s why we’re here. We’re here to help all Civil Engineers who are, or have been, members of ICE. We’re also here for their families.

You’re likely aware that we can support you through a crisis, but did you know that we can also help you reach your potential in your personal development too?

We have a wide range of services available to you and your family as part of your ICE member benefits. It’s fair to say – we have something for everyone!

So, take a look at what’s on offer. You’ve spent your entire day improving the world. It’s time to take a moment for you.

You’ve earned this.
